Driftless Blue is a personal project taken on by a small group of progressive activists in and around La Crosse, Wisconsin.
Given the numerous groups pursuing a variety of progressive causes (climate change, labor rights, women’s rights, LGBT issues, political reform, and many others), we found a need for a non-partisan calendar where anyone can find events and meetings of groups who share their interests. Such groups are free to post notice of their own events so that interested people can make these connections.
This calendar may also be useful in event planning. Groups can prevent themselves from interfering with each other’s activities by checking this calendar for potential conflicts before scheduling their own events.
There is a lot of exciting progressive activity in our region, and Driftless Blue is the place to tell people about it, and to find out about it.
